Our local festival, Arts in the Forest, kicks off our season here in West Linn, Oregon. The weather finally warmed up but the towering pine trees kept our velvet pumpkins and our Hot Skwash crew cool.
Visitors were wowed by our new colors and could not resist picking up our little babies (not by the stem please!), squeezing them and taking them home.
I've just recently come across your hot skwash website and blog and am over the moon excited. They are gorgeous!!!!!
No vendor locally to purchase from, so I perused your online shop. Do you suppose you will be offering any other assortments of colors, other than Sienna), as we head on into the holidays??
Love them a lot!!

Thanks Linda, We are hoping to do a couple different arrangements on the website. Where are you located? There might be a store near you that carries them. Daria

Daria - What do you suggest to keep customers from picking the pumpkins up by the stems ? I hate to have to place signs, or add tags to them but if we leave them out to be touched (how can you not ...)we inevitably have several get their stems broken. I usually keep the big guys in a case, but only the tiniest ones can stand to be "stemhandled" without suffering from it. At a loss on how to protect them yet keep them available for that incredible velvet effect.
